Our Mission
To continue the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ
in word and deed. "See to it that you complete the work you have
received in the Lord" (Col. 4:17).
This will be accomplished as we are experiencing
and enjoying life to the full in God - - worshiping Him, serving one
another, and taking the gospel to our neighbors near and far, so that
His ministry may be complete in us as we find our completeness in Him.
The Source
Experiencing and enjoying life to the full in
God is abiding in Jesus, rejoicing in His love, delighting in His glory
alone, believing His promises for the Church, and being filled by His
Spirit. This must be the engine to power all of our ministries. "I
have come that they might have life and have it to the full" (Jn.
10:10b).
Gospel Astonishment
Worshiping God is intentionally declaring and
demonstrating His worth to heaven, earth, and the generations to come.
His worship must permeate all our activities. "Yet a time is coming
and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in
spirit and truth for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks"
(Jn. 4:23).
Gospel Culture
Serving one another is intentionally devoting
our lives, possessions, time, and gifts to each other so that we may
build up one another in Christ. "There are different kinds of gifts,
but the same Spirit. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit
is given for the common good. The body is a unit though it is made up
of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body"
(1 Cor 12:4,7,12).
Gospel Movement
Taking the gospel in word and deed to our neighbors
near and far is actively bringing Christ to others by telling the gospel
in words and demonstrating it in acts of love and in works of mercy.
"...the gospel is the power of God for the salvation of everyone
who believes" (Rom. 1:16).
Jesus Christ makes us complete; we do not draw
our lives from things or other people, but from God. His ministry continues
in us as we worship, serve, and take the gospel. May He be seen in us.
To God be the glory!
