Exploring and Discovering God's World
"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth; it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."
Isaiah 55:10-11

Peace Presbyterian Children's Center seeks to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to preschool-aged children while encouraging their mental, physical, social, and spiritual development.
The Children's Center seeks to encourage and support families in our community in the education and nurturing of young children. Through God's help, Bible stories, play, song, prayer, and example your child will:
- Know and see themselves and others as children of God.
- Know and see themselves and others as persons of value and worth.
- Know and see that they are loved by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Letter from the Director
Welcome! Peace Presbyterian Children's Center (PPCC) has a unique function which we are excited to share with you. Through our curriculum we not only offer a program consistent with the highest standards of early childhood education, but also provide the additional dimension of the Christian faith.
As one expression of the church's effort to carry out the task of Christian education, PPCC furnishes a context and means whereby your child will hear about Jesus daily, and be nurtured by a loving and capable staff. PPCC, through developmentally appropriate curriculum, will expand your child's horizons in many ways. Some learning will come through vicarious experiences, such as looking at books and hearing stories. Other learning will come first-hand, such as planting a garden, caring for a pet, and doing simple science experiments. Experimenting with paints, clay, crayons, or sand allows your exuberant preschooler to express him/herself in new avenues. Through this type of learning, your child is able to explore the world around him, and make discoveries about the order and reliability of God's universe.
What a privilege to observe and share with children in this way! May you be richly blessed.
